19. Beef and Broccoli

Ingredient List:

3 tablespoons flour, divided

3 tablespoons beef broth

1 lb. cubed beef

½ cup beef broth

¼ cup teriyaki sauce

3 tablespoons hoisin sauce

3 tablespoons brown sugar

2 minced garlic cloves

2 tablespoons sesame seed oil - divided

4 cups small broccoli florets

1 chopped onion

1 cup sugar snap peas

1 sliced red bell pepper

How to Cook:

Combine 2 tablespoons flour with the beef broth.

Add the beef and coat thoroughly.

Combine 1 tablespoon of flour with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and garlic. Set aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon sesame seed oil in a skillet and sauté the beef for about 4 minutes.

Place the beef on a platter. Set aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon sesame seed oil in the same skillet and sauté the broccoli, onion, sugar snap peas, and red bell pepper for 5 minutes.

Transfer the beef back into the skillet and stir in the sauce.

Let the liquid boil and cook for 1 minute while stirring.

Serve with rice.
